The Lunenburg Werewolf And Other Stories of the Supernatural
By: Steve Vernon
This book is awesome! I love books that touch on the supernatural, the stories in The Lunenburg Werewolf are not long, so it makes the book very Quick and easy to read. Steve does a fantastic job of telling these stories, and giving them a sense of realism. I love the history he adds at the beginning of each story, it really makes it come to life.
I usually tell you which Story I like best, but honestly I don't think I can choose just one, Although I think "The Lady in Blue" gave me real chills. This summer I spent a lot of time traveling around Canada in an eighteen wheeler, I spent much time at Peggy's cove, so this story really tickled my spine.
I highly recommend reading this book, Especially if you like Real Life Ghost Stories. I'm thinking maybe this summer I'll travel Nova Scotia trying to find all the Ghosts.
Enjoy this read. I know I did!
A little about Steve:
Steve learned the tradition of storytelling from his Grandfather, in my opinion he is very good at it. He now carries on the tradition by teaching Nova Scotia children the same art. Steve has written over fifty published short stories, along with several books. Check out his website at users.eastlink.ca/~stevevernon
